David and Jonothan's Homosexual Love

2 Samuel 1:25-26

I've heard people try to use David's affection for Jonathan to suggest
that homosexual love is okay. The only thing that is okay according
to this relationship, is strong affection to a person of the same
sex. This cannot be confused with homsexual sex. Though David
lamented that Jonathan's love was more wonderful than that of women
that he loved, you have to know that David was straighter than the
straightest dude. He virtually invented "Bro's before Ho's". It is
very possible for men to have a deep and special connection with a man
without it being homosexual (meaning that they actually have sexual
intimacy and penetration). In fact I dare say that the only thing
that separates best friend relationships from homosexual relationships
is the sex. Sex with same sex partners is a sin, but deep love and
affection for that same person is not. Sex is not love and love is
not sex.
